Whirlwind Romance

So this is the Roundy Wedding picure! We had the world's worst photographer, so there are very few good wedding pictures! We got married on Leapyear, Feb. 29th, 2000 In the Bountiful Temple! I had my hair in a beautiful up do that day. We walked out of the Temple and the wind was blowing so hard my hair instantly blew out of it's beatuiful do. But, I really didn't care at that point! It was a wonderful day!!. Every wedding day has a funny story. So here is ours! After we were all done taking pictures and got changed. All of our family had left the Temple to go to the Luncheon. They left us a set of keys and Lance's Parents little car so that we could drive together to the Luncheon. So we go to the underground parking, get in the car to go to the Luncheon, and the car dosen't start! We don't have cell phones, we were to poor already, so we went back into the Temple to use the phone. We called every cell phone number we could remeber and nobobdy had turned their cell phones back on!!! We were totally stranded! So by shear luck I was inspired to call my house. Thank Heaven's my brother and his Finance answered the phone! They came and rescued us. We were over an hour late for our luncheon! So, of course, we walk into the Luncheon all flustered and in a rush, so what do they assume? Ya, they think we've gone and had a twinner. The only 2 people that believe us to this day are my brother and his now wife that resuced us that day!

That IS a classic story! You're right, everyone has their wedding day bloopers of some sort. My dog ate my temple recommend... he'd always been jealous of Tyson and would sit in between us. I think stealing my recommend was his last ditch effort so sabotage the wedding. Luckily I had been to the temple the day before for living ordinances, so they let me in. But that whole morning I was crying to my mom because I thought they weren't going to let me in because I couldn't find my recommend. It wasn't until after we got back from our honeymoon that I found it under my old bed with teeth marks in it! -Diane
