The Green Newlyweds

Tyson and I met right here. Okay, not exactly right here at blogspot.com, but at ldschat.com. For a long time we were really embarrassed to tell anyone, so we told people we met at one of his softball games, which was not exactly a lie, because it is where we met in person for the first time. But times have changed and meeting on the internet is not quite as taboo as it was then. We had a lot of fun dating, but ran into a recurring embarrassing issue for me. Example: as alumni, we were going to a football game of our respective high schools (Davis vs. Northridge). Part way into the game, Tyson went to use the restroom. A guy in front of me turns around and says, "that's really cool, you go to Northridge, and your dad graduated from Davis!" What could I say? I mumbled something about Tyson not being my dad, that he was my friend (by the way, Tyson is less than two years older than me). Unfortunately, that was not the only time that such an awkward situation happened. On our HONEYMOON the flight attendant had to make sure I was at least fifteen years old, because our seats on the emergency exit isle. Luckily, I was 22, so we didn't have to move.

Tyson looks so young. I just love these posts. I am going to have to learn how to use our scanner so I can add to this post. Don't you just love the embarassing moments you usually have while dating or when you are first married? So cute.
