I only have one picture of our wedding downloaded on our computer right now and it is not the best one. You really can't see Eric and I very well, but our scanner is down and I don't know when it will be up and running. I will keep trying to download a better picture when I can.
So Eric and I met on a blind date. It is amazing how those actually work out. We met on Sept. 18th, 1999 and were engaged two weeks later. We got married on Feb. 18th, 2000 in the Bountiful Temple. So we knew each other exactly 5 months to the day. Most people thought we were crazy, maybe we are :), but we just knew it was right and it didn't matter what other people thought. I don't have any funny wedding stories, it was a great day. It was cold though, as you can see in the picture. Those are my old rommates, by the way, throwing snowball at us.
The only crazy story about us is that it was a miracle that we actually ended up going out on the date. My best friend Cynthia as the one that set us up, and I asked her how tall he was. That was my only thing I had to have someone that was taller then me, it was hard to come by, I am actually taller then the average man. So she thought he was tall, but was not sure how tall. So then I asked, what is he like. She said he had a nice personality. Okay, so in my shallow mind. He was 5 foot 4, overweight and a dork. I was terrified to go out with him, but she had already given him my number and I had no choice, so I said yes. Then she tells Eric that I have been in the same singles ward for 8 years. He thought I as a total spinster, only weirdos stay in singles wards that long, (that is what he says, not me). But I guess we both were desperate enough to go out with each other and thank heavens it worked out. It was love a first sight for me, don't know about him. Thank heavens we are still in love with each other after 8 years of marriage.

That is a great shot! It looks cold! Those blind dates seem to work out!
Can't wait to see a front shot of you too. You guys are perfect for each other. My thoughts are the same as yours, when you know it's right, who cares what anyone else thinks. You go Girl.
You two just fit together like Peanut Butter and Jelly ~ I just think you are a perfect match.... (love your kids too)
