Last summer we went to Disneyland for the first time with the girls. I have to say, I am a huge Star Wars fan and would have loved to get to do what Heidi was able to do at Disneyland. She actually got to learn how to fight with a light saber. Of course, Heidi had no idea what Star Wars was at the time, she had never seen the movie, so she thought it was cool at first. She was picked from the audience to be a young Jedi Knight and learn the way of the Force. I was so excited for her. I was trying hard not to be a backstage mom. So she put on the Jedi costume, or uniform I should say, and got a lightsaber. They taught her how to fight and block an attack. WOW!! I was so jealous, and excited for her. Of course, s
he had no idea what was happening. Then all of the sudden, Storm Troopers show up, and Darth Vader comes out from the bottom of the stage. So, what does Heidi do??? Freaks out!! She wanted nothing to do with him and was finished. She walked off the stage!! Oh, to live through your children.

Jayden would be so jealous. He LOVES Star Wars (his buddy, Cameron Williams, got him hooked). He's running around in his Darth Vader costume right now. But I bet he would also have been scared if he had been in Heidi's place! -Diane
I have to admit! that Darth Vador is quite intimidating! look how he is standing! hahahaha
