What! Permission slips to get married? Ok, not quite but looking back it sure feels like we should have had them. Mat and I were married in the Jordan River Temple on August 10, 1995 one year after we graduated from High School. We had a sophomore gym class together in which we never formally met, I was known as the “girl with the yellow gym shorts” that Mat liked to run behind. We officially met when my bff who had a major crush on Mat dragged me to his house. Mat and I started dating (which made the bff situation a bit tuff) and here we are 15 years later.
Everything at our wedding went as planned being that we had a 8 month engagement (way to long!!) to plan every little thing. The only real weird event of the day was my grandpa was in the hospital. My dad had promised him that we would go see him. Much to my surprise, he expected us to go to the hospital in the wedding dress and tux. Have you ever seen somebody walk through a hospital in a wedding dress?

Wow!!! Mat's hair brings me right back to '94 baby. It's also nice to see someone elses dress that looks a lot like mine-full of frills, beads and whatnot. I think it is so funny how old we feel when we get married but when we look back the thought that usually comes to mind is "What was I thinking? I was so young." Your post is so fun. Love it.
And you still have that beautiful curly hair..... cute pic! You can see the mischief in Mat's eyes then.
I love seeing all this pics... Jorgy has a good point, we think we are all grown up and then look back and say - wow I was just a baby.
