Wondering what to do this summer when all the kids are out of school? May I suggest Promentory Point. OK so it is in the middle of nowhere but there is history to learn here. We decided that since we had never been there we were going to take a day trip and go out and see the spot where "east meets west" at least in the railroad industry. We went on a "Free day" and had a ton of fun. We all got to ride on a hand car, a motor car, see in both of the engines, play games, get free stuff (coloring books, hats and whatnot) and just have a fun little day trip. I would recommend this to anyone with little kids but I would also recommed to go on the "Free day" because they have games and all the little extra stuff that is not there normally. If you want food, you need to take your own but they have drinking fountains, pop machines and nice bathrooms. I'm glad we were able to do this but it is probably a one time thing . We as a family want to see everything there is to see in Utah so we thought this would be a great place to start. It was a lot of fun and took up most of the day. Try it, who knew what Utah had to offer.
